PortAbility is a pioneering project focusing on port city areas, aiming to connect Vocational Education and Training with the evolving needs of port-related industries and provide the workforce with green and digital skills, leaving no one behind.

Portability is creating Centres of Vocational Excellence in four port territories in Italy, Spain, Greece, and Cyprus, guided by the experience and best practices of Hamburg, a port city that has already advanced in its transition.

Our mission is to support the transformation of port cities towards a greener, more digital, and more inclusive future, with Vocational Education and Training as a key driver of the just transition.

PortAbility project aims to enhance vocational education and support workforce upskilling and reskilling by providing training resources and action plans. 

The partners PortAbility brings together VET centres, universities, companies, social organisations, and public authorities across Europe, united by a shared vision to support the just transition in port cities.
