A powerful model of European collaboration

PortAbility aims to establish four dynamic Centres of Vocational Excellence in port city regions across the Mediterranean, that will focus on emerging job trends, professional profiles, and vocational training methods addressing the needs of port-related industries.

Our country clusters in Italy, Spain, Greece, and Cyprus will be complemented by our partners from Germany, who will support us with their experience and best practices from Hamburg, a region that has almost completed its own transition.

The PortAbility consortium brings together VET centres, universities, companies, social organisations, and public authorities across Europe, united by a shared vision to support the just transition in port city regions.

This diverse and well-rounded partnership ensures that the project addresses the unique challenges and opportunities of port city regions undergoing economic, social, and environmental transitions.
